I change my mind on that a couple of times a day. LOL. I don't have room for it without getting incredibly creative, which I'm tempted to do. I had a 74 that meant the world to me that I sold back in 2003 and regretted it ever since.

It's not hard to think bout things multiple times before making the way :) lol

The story behind finding and buying it will make you regret selling this one even more than the '74 in a few years.

History on something like that is always cool to have, Pass down to the next family member later :)

You commented on this bar...was this a factory installed option or something that would have been done after the fact?
Anything Stroppe was added by Stroppe after it was delivered to them. Or someone bought a Stroppe bar and installed it themselves. Either way it's not a factory item.

For anyone who cares, in March of this year I decided to do a full frame off job and it's been a ton of fun. Will post a ton of pics, but powdercoated the frame, did all the metal work, repainted candy apple red, rebuilt everything...just dropped it off at the exhaust shop and hoping that I'll be driving it with my family by this weekend!

That was an engine block heater. It was basically a heater and a pump, and would circulate the coolant when it was plugged in. I threw it in the trash during the tear down.

Some of us cold weather people prefer the circulating type block heaters.
I prefer dipstick heaters for cold weather because they heat the engine oil directly. Believe me, when I visit my parents in Alaska, this is a must.
