Won a sheet metal dash cover at bronco daze from Wild Child and love it. It replaces the original and has a large lockable cover and install is a snap, it also has a lip in front of driver to install guages.

I snapped a pic of it on Sam's EB at Fab Fords:

When closed, the contours are close to the original dash pad. There is a lock on them. The one on Sam's truck is the first one.
I'm getting one each of my Broncos.

Looks like you have to chop your dashpad. :-

If that is the look you want then looks like a good product. But not for me and mine.

Just my .02

I wanna know what the heck that is crawling out of the radio hole ;D

The turtle is the best part of that picture! ;D

It always amazes me how different each rig looks in the cockpit for such a basic layout.

The locking box is a pretty cool idea, any lockable storage idea seems like a good one for the EB.

THe design looks clean and functional. I don't have a dashpad on mine, this looks like it would replace the entire dashpad....Does it interfere with defrost function? Or is there a cutout in back for the windshiled defrost vent?

I would hate to smack my face on that.

Maybe a padded version should be an option? ;)

I am sam from Wild Child . I am new to this page. My dash box is a direct replacement for the stock dash pad it does not interfer with the defrosters, roll bars or wind wings. I have thought about badding the top but have not got that far yet, but it would be easy to do.

The price is $250, just a few dollars more than a stock dash pad.

The cridder crawling out of my dash is something I picked up on an adopt-a-hiway a few years back and has just rode with me every since.
