Well here goes my first post. I have a 69 Bronco Sport that is all original. Ive been working on getting it back on the road. Ive got all of the gauges working including the fuel gauge finally. However I cant seem to get my dash lights to work. Ive searched the forum and have tried to figure it out. I replaced the headlight switch and still no workie. Ive got power on all of the terminals on the headlight switch except for the blue wire with the red stripe. Also no power at the fuse block for the interior lamps. Any input would be much appreciated. Sorry for the long first post. Awesome forum with alot of great information.

Have you turned the headlight switch knob? That controls the rheostat which controls the dash light voltage. The current then goes through the 2 amp fuse #3.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I tried turning the switch both ways and nothing. Headlights and taillights all work great. I have no power at the fuse block just for that 2amp fuse. On either side? Weird. I have power on all of the rest of the fuses. I pulled the fuse block and cleaned the terminals on the back. Were a little rusty. Viperwolf do you make housecalls? I live in Aurora also. LOL. Thanks for the help.

I've been known to make housecalls. I'll PM you my number.

The problem is pretty easy to troubleshoot though. Disconnect the plug from the switch and ohm between the brown wire terminal and the blue-red wire terminal on the switch. If its open ( even after turning the knob) it's a bad switch. Also make sure the running lights and brake lights are working.
