This was for a set of lift blocks that I gave to broncomitch. I only asked him to pay shipping. This was started on 5/8/10 Looks like I will not get the shipping money back so I just thought I would post this up so you all can make up your own mind about any dealings with him.

Link did not work so here is a copy and paste. it is off my PM so it is most recent first.

Re: shipping
kept forgetting.
ill go get one today.
working 15 hr days dose not keep your mind very clear.
or i can deposit the money in your checking account.

I fixed it. Cut and past. Not as good as the link but you get the idea.

Okay, so let me see if I got this straight. Over six months ago you give a brother here some lift blocks and just ask that he pay shipping, and he agrees. But then he never comes though and keeps making excuses, after receiving the lift blocks. So you get burned doing something nice for the guy and on top of that your links don't work.

If I got this right, don't let it spoil your good deed doing and helping others out as you always have here, most would never do you wrong, and know what goes around comes around. I don't know what else to say, except I am sorry this happened and I hope it gets straightened out.

Well a member here sent me a couple of hub bolts on his own stamp and never asked for anything in return (Thanks Justin). Then another was looking for part of a wiring harness, that I happened to have, so while on a trip to AZ I grabbed it and dropped it in a flat rate box and shipped it for $5 not expecting anything in return. Last weekend I drove 180 miles (each way) to help Adam work on his rig, not asking for anything in return except a couch to sleep on, he in return fed me the whole weekend and bought me a soldering stand (Thanks again!).

Point being, there are plenty of us on this board that are out to help eachother out, and are honorable. There are plenty of us who lead busy lives and occasionaly forget to do stuff. I don't know what Mitch's reasons are but I do know he's a young 'kid'. Hopefully he'll come through and pony up a few bucks, maybe not. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't trust other's here to do what we say we'll do.....

If he completely bails out on you, I'll pitch a couple of bucks your way to cover shipping if need be... You've helped me plenty of times anyways.

It's not about the money really. heck I gave him the blocks. I give lots of stuff away. It is a good thing to help out. I just want others to know who they are dealing with. Tons of great guys on here, just a few that I wont have any dealing with.

I'm with astark on this, don't let one isolated incident keep you from helping others. Hopefully broncomitch will make this right for you, although it's a little late. I've offered a few Items for free to members only to see them end up in the classified section for sale.%)
Karma will eventually take from Mitch and give to Bax, just not directly. Now that he's been outed, I hope he gets back in. How can you own a Bronco, and not be part of all this?

Thanks for the heads up on him. How could someone create such a bad name for himself on a board like this over $5-10? Now no one will deal with him or probably help him in any way over a few dollars. I just don't understand some people.

Izzy sold me a crossmember and siad shipping would be 20 bucks. Turned out it was only 15 so he paypaled me back the 5 bucks. I thought that was pretty cool. Its not like I would have known the difference. Everyone I've dealt with on here has been straight up and honest. So just keep being a good guy Bax. Your good deeds offset the actions of the a few bad apples and help this place remain a great place to be.
