Well there is lots of books out there with casting numbers. Mine is called Ford Parts interchange numbers by George Reid. However, once you know how to read them its pretty straight forward. You have a 289 block, not a 302. The part number "C" mearns 1960s and the "6" is the year ....so 1966. 302s did not come out until 1967. your manifold is off of a 1968, either 302 or 289...probably 302.

And if it has been rebuilt you will need to know the crank as well. Changing the crank and rods is the difference in 289 to 302, the block is interchangable.

Sounds like a 289 car engine. intake is a mustang piece. No real specs other than normal 289 specs. casting numbers dont always tell you the exact engine as a 390 could have a casting number that is the same.
Many times older rebuilt engines are pieced together so you could have a 302 crank in a 289 block ect. you will have to do some measuring to ensure the stroke that will tell you if its a 302 or 289.
