I purchased one of the Blue Holley electric fuels pumps about a year or so for my I6 to V8 conversion project. Now it's time to install but before I do I'm wondering if it's too much pump for what I need? The pump is rated to flow 95 gph at 7 psi and supposedly the regulator that comes with it is adjustable down to 4.5 psi.
My set-up will be a new Ford crate engine with the E303 cam, Weiand Stealth intake, and an old Holley 600cfm. I'd say this should be well in excess of 300 horsepower.
What amount of psi and gph is ideal for this type of set-up? The truck will probably be used on the street 95% of the time.
