Directional fuse (14A) - blows

Help, has this happened to anyone.
When I start the Bronco, intermittently the directional fuse blows.

If it has not blown during starting, it’s fine.
So, if I pull the fuse, start car, put fuse in - it’s fine.

I think the initiation switch may be bad (even though it’s new) but want to see if others have experienced this or have other suggestions to try before replacing switch?

Bronco is a 1976.

Thanks

.. I'd put a 20A IN IT & SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
Then knowing me I'd put a 30 A IN it as I don't worry much about using the wrong fuze.
.. If it blows bigger fuzes then check . farther.
.. SORRY .. WHICH FUSE IS THE iNTERMITTENTLY Directional FUSE ..Are those the blinkers.
But what every fuse you pull tells you It in that circuit.

What happens when you just turn the key to ON, or to ACC?
Does it only happen when you turn it to START?

All stock original wiring?
What about modifications/additions? Any new turn signal switch, turn signal lamp socket, or other wiring changes?

Paul - when I switch to Acc it’s fine, all stock wiring.
It’s happened twice so far when I start it - once it’s running it has not happened. Longest it’s run is about a one hour trip...

I’ll put a amp meter on it later today and see what is draws.
Really strange, I’ve not run into this and would not think the ignition switch would cause it.
