Do You Get Compliments on Your Bronco Very Often?

Last September, I picked up a 77 in Boise. Drove from Snohomish, WA to Boise and back in a day (never again). Both times when I pulled in to get fuel on the way back, I had people crawling around my trailer taking "looks" and wanting to chat. I was half asleep on the last one, so I was probably acting like an A-hole.

I had some kid screaming at me this last Summer when I was driving my Dad's. I thought I did something wrong, like cut him off, but once I could read his lips, I realized that he was screaming positive things: "I love that truck" "Its so awesome". I was a little embarassed, ready for a fight, and the guy is just complimenting the Bronco.

Amazing how popular these have become.

I usually have mine on a trailer going to or coming from Silver Lake Sand Dunes ... Usually get a wave or 2 along the way...

To kinds of people

One of the reasons he lifted his 78 bronco that high is people stop by his tire shop and look at it some people hate it some people like it

Get comments daily - just went by a redbox drop off and some guy asked to snap a pic at the Walgreens. Kinda fun most days but sometimes I just like to enjoy it without having to respond.

I had a guy argue with me: my 76 couldn't possibly be a 76 because Broncos had gone big by then.

I drive my 71 to work all the time. I have a "local" who just loves it and watches out for it in the parking lot. She's even come in our lobby and reported anyone she thought was suspicious. Funny stuff. Only in a Bronco!

Compliments here in Tucson ALL the time! I still chuckle because I've had more here in two years of retirement than 41 years in Portland. Lots of old car fans here.

One of my favs was when we were coming out of our breakfast cafe with another older lady shuffeling along near us, she came over to chat for a while and said more than once, "nice buggy!" ;D

Over the weekend I attended a celebration of life for a friend. His son, who I haven't seen in 5-10 years, approached me and the first thing he asked was, "do you still have your Bronco?"

I thought that was pretty cool, though completely unexpected given the circumstances.

i was talking to a guy up the road from me at the dump one day. he was asking me about my project. he figured it would sit in my dooryard a bunch of years and he would buy it off me cheap but now sees it almost done. he said he still had a 63 and wanted another one. Me "they dint come out until 66 built in late 65" him "i know what i have...." I smh and walk away

All I can say is if someone comes up to me this year and says "nice jeep" I am going to flatten them!

I get them all the time, whether its a thumbs up, a fist pump or similar gestures when driving around town.

But this is the coolest compliment yet...

There was a crane operation at work the other day setting HVAC equipment into place and they left the site before my shift ended.

Well I walk out to the Bronco at shifts-end and found this really cool hat wedged into my drivers side rear view mirror... must have been the crane operator or one of the riggers.

no cause damn thing sits in garage mostly :(

My three year old tells me "There's a Jeep like yours" or "it has a tire on the back like yours" every time he sees a Wrangler. :D
