Does anyone actually own a water tight EB?

I have been working diligently replacing weatherstripping.
Even with new stuff installed I can still see light coming through in several places. Too many places to list.
I plan on keeping the hard top on semi-permanently.
Has anyone found the magical cure for water-tightness?
Some kind of auto-spray-foaming-goo?

Move to AZ, store in a garage.

None that I ever owned were watertight. Although the last one was better and didn't drip on the legs while driving.

My first one leaked so bad my father once put a rain suit on to drive in the rain, and the hard top and doors were installed.

I've never driven mine in the rain, seriously. Rains are far a few between, and I only get to drive it 2-4 times a week.

Mine holds water when it rains with the top off and the doors are shut it fills the floor up till it runs out the tailgate but I know that's not what you wanted to hear . It only leaks in one place with the soft top on and that's at the top of windshield where it bolts together.

one of mine only leaked through the drivers side hood air vent b/c it was dry rotted. Granted the top had never been removed so the weather stripping was basically welded to the metal.
Oh and I forgot to mention that the rolled up/wadded up towels shoved down in the floor kept the tires from slinging everything up into the cab through the rusted out kick panels.

Water tight? Then it would be a swimming pool...you need the holes so it drains ;)

Mines pretty water tight. I used the foam door seal material (commonly used on RV doors and so on) you can buy at Home Depot along the door seals and to fill any small gaps. It only costs like $5, so when it gets deteriorated it will be cheap and easy to replace. Helps with road noise too.

Mine doesn't leak and rain is a pretty regular event here in central Florida.
I drive it in rain all the time.
Original seals and I have had the top off a few times. I guess I'm just lucky.....

It took a few years of tracking, identifying, & repairing each one, but Frank's '75 has been rain-tight for about 4 years now. What I ended up using on most of them was RightStuff, either to fill the actual leak, or to glue the repro foam weatherstrip into the right place. On a few, I had to add generic weatherstrip from a hardware store, but I think it really depends on 1) body alignment & 2) fixing old rust/modification holes.

He doesn't have another vehicle of his own, so he drives this daily in Memphis weather:

I think he still parks it indoors most of the time it's at home, but when he's flying, it's in the parking lot.
