I'm rebuilding this 69 from the ground up... does the constant outflow of cash ever end??

I have not added up all my receipts, I'm scared to. I feel like the end is in sight, but I still need glass all around.

Plus, got to looking through an order I received months ago from Toms, and I am missing two-thirds of the order. I hope they made a mistake and will make it right.

Engine is done
Seats are done
Bodywork is done
Paint is done

Now just got to put it all back together... with 95% new parts btw.

I just can't wait to hear this beast roar! Should be pushing just north of 400hp according to the guy that built it for me.

When it does finally end you won't have nothing to do and will start on something else. It is in your blood. Ken

It doesn't really even end when the car is in use. I have boxes of mods on the shelf, but I don't want to take the car out of service to start them.

Just when you think you've spent enough on the motor and tranny you realize how much the gears, lockers and axles are gonna cost.

it never ends.... Ive been chasing parts for two years now.... you will finish one thing, then you notice the heater box that needs rebuilding, then the steering column, then the speedo cluster, then the wipers, then the seats, the driveshafts, the dana, it goes on and on and on....

No,

And when you get near finishing the one you own, you start looking for another project Bronco to save.

It truly is a Sickness... :(

^^^All the above^^^

The more I spend the more I appreciate the box of extra junk that came with my Broncos...or it used to look like junk...for instance the corroded quarter window frame seemed like junk until I saw that new ones are $295!!:eek:

I've found that counting receipts is similar to trying to count all the cars I've had...I either lose interest or see a squirrel

Broncos are cheaper than chicks and bars and just as finicky and they don't hold a grudge against you.

If you don't like the expense stay off this site and you may actually finish the thing and save you some money. The tricks and upgrades exposed on this site will never end and drive you broke.

I've had my Bronco for 40 years and it still wants its tithing.

Kinda like Craigslist. Didn't know you even needed it till you saw it on Craigslist. It's best not to look. Ken
