• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

  • The Classifieds forum is a place to buy and sell, not an open forum for people to give their opinions on Bronco values. Unless the seller specifically asks for help on pricing, please don't critique quality or asking price. If you're not interested then move on.

2000 Ford Explorer 5.0

I have a complete running and driving truck I bought for my oldest daughter when she turned 16. After her my middle daughter drove it. Then I drove to work daily last summer over 50 miles each way. Here is all I've done in past three years.
New tires
New brakes
New starter
New front driveshaft
New radiator
New battery
Checked fluids and changed engine oil regularly

It requires a quart of oil every so often maybe 1 between oil changes sometimes not. Trans shifts great never an issue. RUSTY!! THIS TRUCK IS RUSTY!! Previous owner drove it to steel mill daily so it also has iron stains from the iron dust floating around the mill. The interior is rough, worn, stained. I replaced radiator last winter. I was cold and had trouble with clearance and took A/C lines loose. I never charged it back up. So no working a/c and system is closed up but not charged.

I've driven this truck 200 miles to my hunting property with no issues. I'm not afraid to drive it 1000 miles with basic tools id carry with any used truck.
