Ok, so I’m having this door closing issue now with WH door seals. The drivers side isn’t terrible and I could probably get it to compress right with some heat but the pass side is horrible! I can’t get it to close even without a latch. It just won’t go.

I tried some tape and pulled the strip at the front of the door over and it helped but not enough. I feel like I’d have to trim a ton and would it even seal anymore?

Ok, so I got the Amazon weatherstripping mentioned above but I liked the top pieces of the WH kit I had as well so figured I’d splice them together.

The WH kit tubing was a little smaller with two tubes so I cut the slit between them, and I used half a plastic drinking straw (for perfect alignment) and adhesive in the top tube, then adhesive and straw in the bottom Amazon tube.

Works perfectly.

Took my doors 5 years of slamming and they finely close right. The rubber softened up over time and heat.
New seals about three years ago on mine and same. Every year they get a little better. Move the striker in another 1/16 or 1/8 haha. Slamming just comes with the territory.
