Door jam mounted side mirror?

Hello,

I've been looking over past threads for side mirror options for when I have the doors off. I've seen the jeep style that mount to the windshield frame. I've also seen the grote type that many use.

I was wondering if anyone has thought of and/or mounted side mirrors to the door jam or even further mounted them using the upper door hinge holes? I'm looking to avoid any new holes and I thought this might work if the right mirror could be found.

Yeah, I mounted ATV mirrors on mine before I finished my doors. Legal here to drive without them, but I wanted something cheap and easy temporarily.
