door lock question

Finally getting around to reassembly after going through my doors - interior skin treated, new channels, bushings, tracks, rods, mechanisms all seem to work for the first time in the 16y I've owned her

For the life of me I cannot recall if there's a grommet for the door locks; or do they just go flush against the skin? Seems like I want to put some kind of silicone bead if so - but the new locks did not come with any seal, and not seeing any on the vendors sites -

?

thanks

mine sat flush to the door when I removed them. Will be doing what you are very soon. I will probably put a small amount of silicon to seal them as well even though the doors are hardly dry inside anyway.

yeah - the Tom's seals are for the door handles, not the locks (ordered those door handle seals already)

The other kit is great - now that I've separately ordered taillight, marker, front turn, lic tag, etc -

They've got to be all of $.30 ea - O'Reilly's is befuddled -

geez
