Door striker post replacement/bolts

Just a update. Was finaly able to drill out the striker bolt and replaced them. Was able to move the striker around enough and had to put a shim on the bottom hinge, but its closing great. No more slamming. Im happy. But I still have about a half an inch gap on the bottom and rear of door (door is sticking out at bottom corner). But I remember reading somewhere about using a block of wood and pushing the door in...Ill do some research. Thanks again

The door seals can play a factor for sure. I got all my door gaps nice, then put the standard seals on and the bottom of the doors stick out. I also moved the body gaps around by shimming the body mounts. If the front or rear mounts are low this will make the biggest difference. I had to shim up the rear mounts of mine to bring the b pillar back to square. You would think a square door should be fairly easy to adjust...not so much. Just keep playing with it.
