My 70 has dual front shocks. Was this a dealer option or what? The mounts look pretty nice. Just curious. Thanks

I think Duff used to make a style w/ one shock mount on the radius arm cap, maybe Rancho too?

Not factory. But super common upgrade through the end of the century. Once the shock technology got up to speed and people decided they don't want there fillings knocked out going over a speed bump they all but went away.

If the lower mounts look really stock, the '78/79 full size Bronco had them stock and the arms will interchange. Just a slight spacing change where the spring plate bolts on.

The right shocks when used for double shocking worked great for a smooth ride, the wrong shocks would be rough.
