James Duff & Bronco Driver Magazine are joining forces again this year for a Fall Ford Wheelin' Event at Wind Rock aka Coal Creek November 14-16. We're keeping it pretty simple and straight forward—Wheeling with food & friendship. The weather was wonderful last year and we still had some fall colors to enjoy.

Friday night we're having a BYOBurger grill out and a Meat & Eat hot meal is included Saturday night. Open to all Fords- Fullsize Broncos & Rangers included. Variety of trail levels from scenic to Rattlerock! We will be in the RV Pavilion for dinner & activities- Suzy's RV will be in D4, so consider that if you would like to be central if you are bringing an RV.

Windrock Park is a 72,000 acre OHV park just north of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Trails accommodate from Mild to Wild.

Feel free to stop in at the Duff shop for our Open House Thursday November 14th afternoon/evening on your way through town to the event. We'll be open late and have munchies.

Basic registration fee includes:
Tour Guides for Wheeling Friday & Saturday
A Limited Edition Nostalgic Embossed Tin Sign ($20 Value will not be sold until after the event!)
Two meal tickets for Saturday Night Meat & Eat Dinner & Campfire at the RV Pavilion at Windrock Park
One Raffle Ticket for Saturday Night Raffle

**Use Fee charged by Windrock is not included in registration. $17 1-Day Adult $8 12&under, $33 2-Day, $16 12&under.
Visit WindrockPark.com for camping and four wheeling information.

Please note: We have added vehicle information on the registration to help us plan for what kind of trails you will want to run. There are gravel roads leading to the Windmills, radar bases, other scenic areas and overlooking some of the more extreme trails, including the famous Rattle Rock. As far as trails go, we can start moderate and work our way up!

Registration is at: http://www.dufftuff.com/Fall_Ford_Wheelin_Weekend_Windrock_Registration_p/event-2013.htm

Whooaaa that's a long haul Kyle!! OCBR was 750 miles and 13.5 hours for me (Google said 11 hours but stopping a few times to walk around, buy coffee, buy fuel, and switch drivers added the exra time).

Kyle this has been on my radar since last year. Maybe a car pool is in order, if I can go (getting of work is iffy) I won't be able to leave until Thursday afternoon.

This sounds like a good time! Bit of a haul to get down there. At least 14 hours I would think from my neck of the woods! ;D

I talked to Gordon yesterday about it. He is going to go so we possibly could car pool.

716 miles for me.. Wish I could go. When all these dang children get out of the house, I plan to attend a lot more of these.

Beautiful park and trails worth the drive-you can be challenged to what ever level you wish...................
If it makes you feel any better, when we go to Moab, we leave NC on Friday morning and drive to Sallisaw, Ok-14hrs, do 12 on day two and 4-8 day three, depending on which way we go. That puts us there right after lunch on Sunday and we hit the trail(usually a short one for Sunday afternoon).
Wheel Monday-Thursday and then come back to NC. So 6 days of driving for not quiet 5 days on the trail.....................
'03, '06-'10, Hope to go back spring break of '14
:)

Gone a lot further for less. Used to regularly drive 20-26 hours for less than 60 minutes of seat time, and I didn't even get to drive, but did stack LOTS of rocks and spot.

Work trip, Work trip :D

Good luck with your decision buddy. I've had some other "things" come up, that will definitely hinder me being able to go. :(

I'm still planning on being there.

Does anyone have some aluminum 15x8 or 15x10 wheels for sale? I've got a friend looking for a set on a current project.

Registrations are starting to roll in. South Carolina is in the lead! Haven't heard anything from the Alabama folks that came last year...

Cabins are indeed booked up, no word if they are Bronco people and they just haven't registered yet.

Hotels: I've attached a screen shot from google of the hotels in Oak Ridge. It's about 11 miles from the park to the hotels.
