For those of you who may not know, Oak Ridge is called the secret city because it was not on any map for years. It was built to support the enrichment of uranium for the first atomic bombs. Today the largest storehouse of weapons grade uranium is located in Oak Ridge along with the refurbishment of our nuclear warheads. Stop by the AMSE museum if you get a chance.

Looks like I need to get in the garage and make some repairs!

Hopefully the weather will be as nice as last year. Regardless I'll be there and looking forward to it.

I'm trying very hard to get my rig drivable to make this trip. I've never been on an organized ride like this, I've never driven this particular bronco, and I've spent the past 6 years trying to get her built. Wish me luck!

Hey, we all work best with a deadline! ;D Hope you can make it!

Got that right but I have to work that weekend. I have that following week off and an headed upta camp for some deer hunting.

No kidding. Should have my Bronco back together in a day or so. Need to go test drive it. Going to miss driving around in Todd's 66 F-100...It will pass everyting but a gas pump. ;D

Thinking about doing this. I have a cash sale coming up that would clear some of my monetary responsibilities. If that happens I will make the trip.
