For that much $$$ it seems you would be just as well off buying all the parts and building it your self for half, or am I missing something?

the jig that lines up all the parts.
and the labor of putting it all together too.

I thought it would be more than 10k for sure, especially when an oem rebuilt body is 8k from the place in Nebraska.

OK, I pumped them for info on the body.
Tub alone about $10k
Tub loaded (door shells, front clip, roof) about $13k
What was shown is not exactly what the finished product will be. The tub was delivered Thursday before the show (and SEMA has you set up the booth on Monday). It got a very quick coat of silver paint to keep it fresh looking, it was probably still drying as it was on the truck to SEMA. The dash is going to be simplified a little; The cut outs for the light bars removed, cut your own if using them. Various other holes (simple ones) deleted so you don't have to fill them in, but if doing a restoration you will simply have to cut them out. Also brought up deleting the transfer case shifter hole as so many drivetrain swaps require the hole somewhere else. Face it, it is easier to cut a simple hole them to patch a hole. Final decisions are not made yet. All the above is subject to change and not written in stone, or even pencil at the moment

This will NOT be a spray and drop on body. You will have to do finishing work to it. The lack of a fuel filler hole is planned. Drill your own hole where you want (or graft in filler doors). You will have to make holes where you need them.
There is NO seam sealer. You have to do this yourself.
Final metal prep is up to you as well. They used filler in the factory, you will have to do a little yourself as well.
New metal half cabs will be offered! The standard angled bulkhead will be available as well as a new vertical bulkhead for more interior space.

They are not cheap, nothing about a Bronco (especially when you are getting new stuff) is. But this will give the chance for a retired old mule that normally wouldn't be worth bringing back to life a new chance. It is on the consideration list for the next project.

And they will be offering hoods without vents next year, if I recall correctly (Tim can correct me if I'm wrong). The doors are set up for 66-67 hardware and the window frames are currently bolt-on.

The tub went for a little ride on the road to the show - the driver had to do a panic stop and some of its moorings broke loose and the tub shifted around.

Correct, new steel hood with no vents is comming.
Also tailgate with no "FORD" embossing. So we will have a 3rd option in tailgates.
