What do you guys us when you replace the rear brake E-Brake cables. Vendor items of parts store stuff like Raybestos or Eis Wagner items.
I'd like to get my E brake working.
My back 2 cables seem to be some what froze up.

I'm using the Wild horses extended cables (5"). With a body lift or any type of a suspension lift, the stock cables get short real quick. You can get 78'-79' Bronco cables, but most any parts house will have to order them. It's just easier to get them right the first time from Wild horses. That's been my experience.

The cables never work well for very long it seems, put a line lock in the break line going to the rear and throw the cables away ;) Yea, some one from kali will say its illegal but who cares in TX?

Duffs sells an adjustable length cable that I have had good success with.

My stock drum E brake works great. It will certainly hold on a steep hill. Works better than most rear disc set up I've seen.
