I know this has been talked about, but I haven't seen a real pic posted.
I'm trying to find out where to connect the return spring, does it just hook onto the leaf spring mount, or is there a special hole in the frame it hooks into? It just seems to be a bit lose when I hook it on the leaf mount. If someone has a picture of theirs that would be great.

Will check mine tonight. I seem to recall a hole in bed support rail that is in line with hole in bracket what cables hook to.

Hi, X2. Up on the bottom, not the leaf spring. I don't remember if it is the chassis or the floor. Good luck

Not sure why it's upside down...trying another. But the bracket that holds the cables from rear brakes has a hole in the center for the return spring and the other end fits in the t bracket that connects to the pedal cable.

Do all Broncos have that spring? I don't remember seeing it under there on my '69.

My 72 has the spring running parallel to the frame and hooks into the big sorta square hole in the body mount between the bottom two rivets that attach the body mount to the frame. Just like AZ73 says. I would post a picture but no one paid the contributor fee to post pictures.

Thanks for the picture. For what ever reason I don't have the hole in the bracket that the 2 rear cables connect to.

I attached the spring to the body mount bracket. Seems to work fine. Had a couple of pics from before the transmission was in.
