edelbrock idle mixture screw-DOA

Got a remanufactured edelbrock through Summit last Sep.
Had problems with ign system and finally got them sorted out
yesterday. Obviously, I had no idea there was any problem
with carb until the ign was fixed. Summit only warantees 90 days.

The passenger side idle mixture screw does what seems
like nothing when adjusting idle mixture. Engine will stall
when I screw in the drivers side idle screw all the way,
like it should, but passenger side does nothing, in or out.

Any suggestions to look for when I tear it apart.
I've done several edelbrock rebuilds, so I am familiar
with them, but figured I ask and see if there is anything
common (besides the idle mixture passage on the side
just being completely clogged up).

I am a total amatuer with rebuilding carbs, but did you try taking the screw all the way out and blow the jet out with air gun?

X3, also take carb off and blow the ports in the venturi by the throttle plates. squirt some carb cleaner into the holes also..

had the same problem, removed air screw and shot some carb cleaner in and then hit it with compressed air. Works great, got the info right from Edelbrock techs...
