Earl (Holley) sells some..............

"PTFE inner liner impervious to all known fuels, oils and coolants used in automotive applications!"

try searching "ptfe braided" on Summit. PTFE should stand up to the ethanol crap they put in the gasoline...

After having some braided line rot internally I am now just running Earl's vapor gaurd rubber hose. Doesn't look as fancy, but at least it works.

I quit using the braided fuel line. I was having a problem with the bronco not running right. When we were troubleshooting one of the guys noticed gas seeping from the braids. We pulled the hose off and the insides were way shot and the outer braided lining was hiding the corrosion. Since then I just run rubber line so it's easier to spot a leak or line going bad. Not sure what brand of hose but most likely came from Earl's.

Supposedly, the ethanol content of gas is going up to 15% starting in a few months. I'd think twice about rubber, especially given the higher pressures of fuel injection...

that was my concern all along, and i wanted to avoid clamps. guess i will just minimize what amout of braided i use? and make the rest steel?

Go check out the Holley site. They have many different types of hoses, branded and non-branded, that take fittings and are suitable for pump gas at high pressures.

the ultrpro stuff looks good, can anyone tell me how many microns my filter needs to be able to filter? i am running explorer efi, the lowest micron filter was 30. I was hoping to use a filter with an fittings, if i go with the ultra pro.

You should use a 4 micron filter to really protect the injectors, there are some made with threaded inlets and outlets that you can use AN fittings with.

It is a common GM filter and a 2 micron rating. It uses O-ring fittings but there are common O-ring to AN adaptors for them.
