EFI ??? Code PO455 (Gross leak on evap system)???

Hey all,

I'm sorry up front. This isn't bronco specific, but the EFI guys will prob know what the fix is for this. I have a friend with a 98 Explorer w/ a 4.0. He is getting the above diagnostic code and can't figure out the fix. He said he was told to replace the gas cap, which he did and no dice. Any ideas?

Cracked fuel filler neck (before admin kills this)
Basicly you have a big hole in the fuel tank that isn't controlling the vapors.
