EFI harness power wiring question.....Grand Marquee harness - I have no brown plug!?

First off I would like to thank casadejohnson for stopping by to help with his bronco.

I am in the middle (towards the end) of an EFI swap. I swapped everything from an 89 Grand Marquis. I had the engine, all sensors, full harness all the way to the starter solenoid.

I have everything installed. I kept the EGR parts, but got rid of the TAD and TAB and the vacuum lines. I have all the sensors wired. I am working on the fuel system.

The problem.....I have no idea where to power the harness with the run and run/start wires. I have several books and just ordered another. I have no BROWN connector #31. I do have a grey conector withthe same configuration and tabs, plus a black withthe same configuration, but different tabs.

The Grey only has 5 of the 8 pins used, the black has all 8 wires. Neither has the same colored wires referenced for the brown connector. I have found other forums on the web with this issue, but none with answers. The GREY connector is near the area where the harness has the computer, there is also o block out? pin right near it. The BLACK connector is about 1/3 way between the computer and the solenoids on the drivers side portion of the harness. There is also a rectangular 6 pin connector near it.
I have the factory Vacuum/electrical troubleshooting manual, but it does not have enough detail. I just ordered a copy of the main service manual with electrical diagrams so I hope that will help.

Any help is great. Anyone with an answer that is close has a cold beer waiting in my garage.

ignore the connectors and colors of them, trace the wires out of the computer connector and wire to them.

Yep, I bought my harness off ebay and also did not have a brown connector, had to count pins on the computer connector, you can pull the 90degree shroud off the connector- makes it easer to see the wire colors.

My 87 Lincoln 5.0 has a grey distributor mounted TFI Ignition module. It was wired wrong when i got it. If it's like mine make sure the bronco start wire to the EFI distributor module is hot when in start and not run. My timing was advanced all the time and smelled rich. It ran ok up to 3k RPM then sputtered.
#3 wire from the bottom on the TFI module connector. Looks like it's red/blu stripe, but my #4 wire also looks red/blu stripe so best to follow it back.
