I too want to keep track of this set up . I prefer the more simple system. We tried to put the ford TBI on Runnig Buddies swap but the guy doing it was closing his doors when buddies job was furnished so it did not turn out too well at the end.

I almost went that route at the advice of several people who've done that exact swap, then out of the blue a friend found a screaming deal on a lightning lower manifold for my 351 and parts just started appearing... a buddy gave me a MAF and injectors, I bought the few odd sensors needed and a harness from summit. I am into my Ford EFI swap for under a grand and very happy with it. I was however days away from ordering the AFI kit. I'd have been happy with either but I love my Ford setup so far.

I have ran the 2bl. Intake and carb for ever and it always worked just fine..... Just always wanted fuel injection

World of difference between the 2 in winter time right... ;)

Interesting thread. I too have decided to abandon the ford EFI system just because I want to use a Boss 429 shaker hood scoop and have it functional as well and still have EFI.

Oh yeah, where are the pics you promised us? LOL

The guys recommend a 1 1/2" hole to get the harness through.... It was a lil tight but it went.....I'm mounting the computer in the glove box so the harness goes right over the heater box through the 1 1/2" hole
