EGR question

okay so i cut a deal at the JY. picked up my 99 explorer motor yesterday and got them to include the upper and lower/fuel rails/injectors from the '97 they had with the internal egr to try and make my life that much easier.

im not planning on running the egr.

im planning on removing the elbow like most have done, since the egr is inside the elbow, that will effectively eliminate it. however, i'd like to run the bc throttle cable setup, does anyone have a pic of that with a spacer? im a little confused as to how it hooks up. do i even need a spacer?

thanks!

Why do you want to remove something that doesn't hurt anything, HELPS the engine & the environment, and won't cost you anything extra to let it do its job? Just set the engine into your truck, hook EVERYTHING up just like it was, and let it all work. The engine will be more durable, more reliable, more economical, and easier to maintain.

truthfully, they pulled the EGR off the intake that they gave me, not that i was planning on running it anyway. once i remove that elbow, the egr will be gone as it is located in the elbow, and i will need to do that for clearance. someone? anyone?

all this time i was thinking the throttle cable came from behind, not in front of the motor. is that the same for the explorer throttle body as well?
