Looking at putting an electric fan on my six cylinder radiator.

Suggestions, has anyone done this and if so what are your recommendations?

Does anyone have the demensions for the front of that radiator, i.e. the space on the front between the radiator mounts and the grill?

I am at work but plan to stop by a couple parts houses on the way home. A rough E-W-N-S measurement will suffice.

Thanks guys.

Don't have the dimensions for you William. I have the V8 and the whole setup is completely different, so can't help there.
Plenty of electric fans being used on the V8 setups, but a lot of people have changed out to the Explorer or '94/'95 Mustang serpentine setups just to gain another inch or two between the radiator fins and the pump snout, so they can fit electric fans in that space.
It's super tight on the V8 models. Don't know if you've got the same space, or less or more, but I'll be interested to find out.
In the meantime, at least this puts you back on top for others to see.
If nobody answers though, and since many Broncos are so inconsistent, you may just have to take some exact measurements yourself to make sure you have the room for a puller fan.

Ford Taurus fans are a popular junkyard donor, but that might not fit yours.

Good luck.

I put a 14in electric fan as a pusher to help with those 100 degree days in stop and go traffic. It helped cure the hi temps. Also still running the puny 4 blade stock fan.

I wired it thru a simple toggle switch mounted under the dash When the temps start to creep up a simple flip of the switch is all that's needed.

Can't remember the brand name of the fan...whatever my local napa sells

I looked at the 16in fan but it looked like the fan motor would interfere with the hood latch
