Is there a wiring harness that can be swapp out of a late 70's or early 80's truck for the OEM harness in a 75 EB. My connectors are failing fast. Old plactic is at its last end!!

What other options are there? Low budget here just got back to work

Thanks

I don't know of a specific truck, but the Fords (cars too I beleive) all had similar plugs for the Duraspark system for several years.
Unfortunately, you have to get to know your setup pretty good (not a bad thing though) to tell the differences. Ford used at least 5 or 6 different versions of the module, so some of them have different numbers and orientations of wires.

Most of the distributor ends were the same, but the module ends differed greatly sometimes.

Either find a vehicle with the same color wire strain relief ("grommet") on the module itself (It's where the wires enter under the edge of the box), or just verify that the plug/wire orientations are the same.
So if yours is Brown, look for a car/truck with another Brown strain-relief.

Should be that simple. Of course, you get to trace it all and try to take it out unscathed!

Good luck.
