John, can you tell me about the wheels and tire size on the red #005? Did you mod the new US Mags? I love the slot look with bead locks. Best of both worlds.

Thanks

The new US Mags are great. However, when I built my #005 Bronco they weren't being made. So I hunted and found some old nasty 45 year old US Mag wheels. I sent them to OMF Beadlocks and had them cut and narrowed from 8.5" to 7.5" and beadlocked. then I drilled out the stud holes to 5/8" for the larger wheel studs I like to run. Then I spot faced them for the 1 1/16" lug nuts. Next I had the face surfaced to remove the pits and blemishes, polished and added 45 degree valve stems. Lastly I sent the rings to Powder One t be powder coated red. of course I wrapped them with BFG Mud 33" tires. When I was all done, US Mags brought back the vintage wheel. Great products !
