Engine swap question?

I am doing the 302 to 351W conversion. I am using the engine front from the 302 including the harmonic balacer. Question is do I need to use the same flywheel or do I just have to worry about the weight. Another thing that worries me is how do I make sure the harmonic balancer and flywheel are lined up properly if I am pulling one off another engine? Sorry if these sound like simple stupid questions.

I am presuming that you are taking the parts off the stock 302, not a '82 or newer. with that, just put them on. The weights are in the right places and they only fit one way. the keyway on the palance onle fits one way and the bolt pattern on the flywheel is a little skewed. if it is in the wrong position, you will not be able to put all 6 bolts back in. Dare I say it, Idiot proof! ;D
