Engine temp, issue or not?

If you recently changed the rad and filled with antifreeze you could very well have air pockets and need to burp the cooling system, also the A/C rad sitting in front although it belongs in that spot will restrict air going through the rad more then if it wasn't there.

Just an FYI - I'm putting in a Ron Davis aluminum radiator now and they say several times to only run distilled water in the mix to help avoid corrosion, also mention to avoid brass fittings in the system to help prevent electrolysis. I have no experience with aluminum radiators & not sure how vital these points are, but worth a mention.

I had zero clue how to run my tranny line without Brass fittings, plus the stock connectors are brass. Suppose I could swap the entire system out, but to what? You're not going to screw plastic fittings into the radiator. Not sure I've ever seen Aluminum fittings.

Check on the Distilled Water. Great suggestion.
