Thinking I may need to make this a offical build thread .....

I scored some full width axles fully loaded with Detroit lockers and 456 gears today for a steal. Thank you rob for getting them for me as I had to go to work.

ford axles 9 inch and dana 44 4.56 gears and detroit lockers complete from a 79

So parts are coming together slowly but they are getting together. Trying to figure out what to do with the trans and engine. I have a 302 maybe 15k on it and a c4 with maybe 7k on it. Both good but I really want a 351 and a 5 speed of some sort. Figure a zf 5 speed. I would not mind the nv3550 but its not as strong as the zf and is a bit more of a quicker shift... ie get in trouble faster. Looking to line up the body to be blasted here soon just need to have time off to call working 8:30-7 sucks who ever said bankers hours were gravy, they were wrong. No daylight after work and most places are closed that you need to call. Grr...
