Exo Cage Idea - need your input

OK... I don't have a lot of Bronco sheet metal but I'd like to protect what I do have. You can see where my vulnerable spots are in the pics and the very rear corners are just as contagious to rock rash. I want to run a tube down the bottom of the orange paint, about 1" off the body, from the rock ski to the rear to protect this body.

Do you like the first or second option? I used a scrap 90* piece of tube I had laying around to give you an idea. I can tie it into the rear of the rock ski or the first cross brace. I'll never run doors so the idea of a door closing is not an issue. I plan on bending some tube up this weekend and hopefully protecting my rear panels ;D

I think I see where your going, why don't you shave them arms and maybe it would be clearer.

I like it in the fist example better as far a looks go. Seems like it would protect the quarter panel and body line nicely. l The hairy are comment was funny though.
