Guys, I managed to break the plastic connectors on the two lines leading to the PCV. I'm having a hard time finding replacement connectors. So here's the question, anyone ever run just one line from the intake to the PCV. Anyone know why on the Explorer there are two lines.

I deleted the twin PCV lines and ran a single. But that was because I removed the two nipples at the bottom of the plenum for valve cover clearance.

The best I have been able to deduce the twin lines routed the way that they did was to drain the intake. If for some reason you got something to puddle in the plenum and you shut the engine off it could drain back down through the lines and through the PCV into the crankcase. Weather it be puddles of blowby oil or condensed water (or water puddle ingestion) it would be better to drain that back into the engine then let it get sucked into a cylinder and hydraulic the engine. It is the best I have been able to reverse engineer it to.

Glad to hear someone has gone with only one line. I thought it might be a problem with the ECM. I'll probably do the same, just to give me more clearance in the back and clean things up a bit.
