Explorer heater tube question

I eliminate the egr, so no longer need the coolant hoses that attach to the heater tubes. Some people cut the nipples off and weld the holes shut and some connect a short, jumper hose between the two nipples. Mine have been cut and welded. Will this cause an issue with that temp sensor reading incorrect or is it not enough to worry about? Thanks.

Based on what Ford did, they provided a means for coolant to move through the tube for the ECT sensor to see current temps when the Explorer heater control valve was closed.

Whether removing them completely creats an issue remains to be seen, as we all know everything in a Bronco engine compartment ends up being about the same temp.

Keeping them with a small loop of hose keeps that design feature and also creates another failure point of the cooling system. So personal preference
