The glue that ford used, I am finding out, Is a pain to remove from the tailgate
and inner rear fenders. I've tried goobgone, paint thinner, gasoline etc. Whats the best way to get this crap off besides a grinder and wire wheel.

You can clean small spots off with lacquer thinner it works WAY better than paint thinner but careful on plastic it will melt some plastics/rubber... Dry ice works amazing for bigger spots.......

Xylene ( or Xylol) is the best cleaner I have found.

Better than acetone or thinners IMO.

Kind of hard to find, but Home Depot had it.
Smells really funny, and I wore really heavy gloves.

What about gel paint remover, it it very flammable and you need to use it outside, but it will pretty much cut through anything I've ever brushed it on, including 35 year old paint!!!!!
