Thanks for the info! I'll give them a call, any chance somebody has a installed pic? I had a set of the hooker fender well headers but they just about drug the ground!

Those are some nice looking headers! Why are they called fender well headers? Do the fenders need to be removed to fit them?

The collectors are outside the frame instead of inside, hence the term "fenderwell exit" headers. The norm for the exhaust is to run between the frame all cozied up to everything else, including your fuel lines, transmission, clutch linkage, etc., so pushing them outside frees up a bunch of space, especially on an EB which have a relatively narrow frame rail spacing.

I was very interested in the MadDog fenderwell headers but the problem most of us have with custom frames, strut supports, etc, etc is that they interfere with what we already have built.

Here's my fix for that. Shorties and exit outside the (now heat shielded) body mounts to my existing 3" tubing.

...and moved out there for all the benefits that Apogee mentioned... plus for me, along with lowering floors and moving body mounts I designed it to install larger bodied Ultraflow's to try to quiet down the stroker some.

Me? Yes. And both sides of the shorty's have been shortened- a bunch. The DS collector was cut off and a tight mandrel bent PwrStroke turbo downpipe was welded on and repowdercoated. The collector hit the pinion yoke by 2".
PS just needed hacking off several inches.

This was/is all temporary as I really need 1 3/4- 1 7/8" primary tubes. The BC collectors are a restictive 2 1/2" so these had to go.

Man I like how you did that! Nice and tucked up! I didn't think about cutting on my shorty's (I have some low buck cj pony parts ones) how much body lift are you running?
