Okay guys, I am the one who created the one piece window kit.
Part of the metal piece that connects the outside sheet metal to the inside metal under the wind wing needs to be cut out, a small area of metal needs to be removed from the door panel for clearance to the regulator and 2 holes need to be drilled for the regulator adjustment bracket. All parts to the kit will be powder coated semi gloss black. The hardest part of the install is cutting out the metal piece under the wind wing but a cutoff wheel makes short work of this.
The old mirror holes can be filled with screws and nuts or welded and painted as I have done on Jeff's bronco.

I am currently working with vendors on components and will put some kind of work out when everything is ready.

Not sure about the kit fitting the bolt on frames as I don't have access to one of those doors. When I get that far, maybe one of you guys can test it for me?

Okay guys, I am the one who created the one piece window kit.

Very nice looking work. I hope to add a kit to my rig once they hit the market. One word of caution, if the vendor you work with slaps some huge price tag on the kits like the grafter rear finder for $699 each plus shipping, sales will be slow IMO.

Hope it works out for you and all of us.

Okay guys, I am the one who created the one piece window kit.

Welcome to the site! I agree that if the vendor slaps a big price tag on these, they might not sale as many or as quick.

So far from what I have seen, this looks like a nice upgrade. I am interested to see the other components that make up the kit.

I would also like to make a recommendation..... You might want to try to have your product available at more than one vendor. If you had your product at a vendor towards the west coast and one towards the east coast, you might sell a few more. Shipping costs can make folks change their mind about a purchase/upgrade if too expensive.

Good luck with it!

Mr. TitanMike:

Do you have a BALLPARK idea on price?????

You know $100-$150 or $200-$250 a pair or whatever?????

Just curious as to how much I would need to start budgeting!!!!

Thanks, Pops

Thanks for taking the time to sign up and explain the process. I am very interested in a set and could I suggest you do a group buy on this site before you let the vendors take over? I'm sure it would keep costs down and hopefully won't be much work for you after you have the kits ready to go. Do you have a time-frame for completion?

Thanks again

I agree with JSmall, a group buy for a limited number for a limited time is a great way to spread the word and iron out any small issues along the way. In just a couple hours there are roughly 27 - 30 sets spoken for.

No time frame yet as I am working with vendors on component pricing to keep cost down.

I have bolt on frames and would be HAPPY to test it out for you! I hate my mirrors and need to do some hole repair on my doors anyways.

Since I have the bolt on frames, I would volunteer to test a set too - should have said that in an earlier post - put me in line!

Never thought about that but it looks great. We're all pretty handy here so with good instructions and reasonable price it could be a new trend in resto-mod.
Also on the west coast so count me in!

I just saw yesterday for the first time that these guys say they are working on (or may already have) a kit for the EB and when I first saw this thread thought it might have been one in the same. (about half way down, under the video clip it mentions the 66-77 Bronco application).

Your buddy may want to make sure his kit compares favorably in features and pricing to what what they will be offering. The kits they list range from $495 to $995

Vent windows are getting harder and harder to find it seems, and the repops I have seen that are in the works are expected to cost $300 per side. So for a custom Bronco, a one piece window might be a cost effective custom alternative even with a $600 kit.
