Finally Back/Ignition Question

Hi everyone, after not working much on the this past year for various reasons I'm finally back with many questions.
First thing is I'm replacing my fuse panel only, because the wiring is in real good shape. I bought a Centec panel and it has a seperate post for Bat. Ign. and Acc. Is there really a seperate terminal from the Ign. switch for Acc? It seems like they are one in the same whether its in the on or Acc. position it powers the same wire in the original fuse block I have a 76 Sport with electronic iignition.

Thanks - Paul

Yes there are two connections. The "run" connection powers a Green w/Red wire that should go to the voltage regulator and a Red w/Green that goes to the coil through the resistor wire. The "acc" connection is hot with the switch either in the run or acc position, and powers all the accessories.

So, the basic difference you see is whether the ignition and charging circuits are powered when you switch between run and acc.

Thanks Steve, that makes sense, it would seem odd with the ignition circuits powered in the ACC. mode.
