Here it is! The much anticipated 700R4 diagnosis! After blowing my second 700R4, I figured it was time to seek professional help, and no I'm not talking about a psychiatrist(although that might be a good idea). Instead of trying to reinstall the transmission by myself, I took my rig down to Bowtie Overdrives and they helped me get the Pitbull buttoned up again. I learned SO MUCH and I'm looking forward to putting the new transmission through its paces! Thanks again to Chris and Duane at Bowtie!

Nice to see you getting this taken care of finally. Looks like a great learning experience for you. Kudos to you for not just dropping it off, then picking it up when finished!

Mitch, congrats. Hopefully this one holds up. I am sure there are a few other 700R4 guys that will be asking for details.

Happy Holidays to you and the WH family.

I'm going to go check my dowel pins too! Looks like Chris's beard has grown a wee bit since I've last seen him :).

My Bowtie OD trans still going strong at the 14 year mark.

Got the same setup with the 700r4 and burned mine up twice because tv cable. First time I setup the tv cable second time trans shop. Broke down and bought bowtieoverdrives cable and cable bracket for the Holley sniper now it works great.

14 yrs and one tranny?? How do you do that Todd...? I've changed from a ZF w/doubler to a 4r70 w/doubler to a 6r80 w/o doubler in 14 yrs... I guess I like the work?? :-0

Both the ZF & 4r are in perfect shape... lol

That says a lot about their tranny's since we know you use your's a lot!! :)
