Finally got around to swapping the 200 out

My 67 had a wornout 200 that a PO had put in it to replace the 170. It smoked, knocked, and was wornout with no power.

I have a 68 falcon that I bought from a guy with 84000 original miles and it runs great.

With the help of a buddy, I finally got around to swapping the engines out. I drove it this afternoon. I have a few clutch and shifter adjustments to make, but it feels like it has twice the power.

My radiator was shot also, so I made some brackets from angle iron to install the radiator out of the falcon which is a little larger and brand new without having to cut anything.

Looks like a clean install. I like the set up of your garage.

Yes, we are planning to make Supercelebration again. I have some other stuff to do to it before then.

update

Just an update on the bronco. Added a weber carb to it. After I took it apart probably 8 - 10 times, i finally figured out the fuel leak problem. It really makes a difference in the power, but have not driven it enough yet to determine mileage or dependability yet. I am enjoying it so far. Now I have to work on installing weather seals, a speaker, and swapping in a lift from a parts bronco all before supercelebration.

Sounds good, did you go with a DSII? Have you been to fordsix.com?

I assume DSII is a dura spark. No, I installed a pertronix ignitor. I have been to the site. Lots of great information, I called Clifford yesterday to discuss problems with him. Nice guy, helped be get her going.

Nice!. I keep debating getting another 6 'on the road'. The two 170 EBs I have are mainly 'field beaters' but I have 2 300s, a 240 and a 200 all sitting here doing nothing.%)

I liked my old DD EB with the 250..a lot. Reliable as a hammer.

the sixes are fun. This is going to be my knock around, hunting, and fishing rig for right now. I hope to start my other build pretty soon. It will be 8 cylinders though.

That is my problem. I have more than I need. Two 302s and I will be installing a 351 soon.
