Finally got my spare mounted

Finally got my spare mounted on the outside. The old location on the inside on the tailgate was just to much of a space hog. Now I can start working on the interior.

Yep it does rattle a bit. I did get a new rubber bump stop for the latch, but it still rattles. What's the fix?

actually u can take a piece (inch or so) of 3/8 hose and zip tie it to the latch on the tailgate. It takes the slop out of the latch. Works every time. I will post a pic. All my friends love it!

I used a piece of 5/8" hose and atached it with a couple of zip ties as you said. It works great! Thanks for the advace, now if I can just fix the rest of the rattles like that around the tailgate and rear window.

No, where do you get them. I was thinking there might be something between the hinge and the quarter panel.
