Not much happening right now. Got my 23 gallon fuel tank installed and picked up a stock power steering box from a '74.

Ordered some Billet fuel line clamps from BC broncos (backordered for three flamin' weeks) so I can start plumbing my fuel lines.

Started rebuilding my original dana 20 transfer case and my parts washer pump quit working on me. S#@t Happens.

Still waiting on my Dana 44 and Big bearing 9".

Ill post some pics soon.

a little progress

Got my c-4 back from the shop. i think I got a good deal on the used tranny (out of a '74 Maverick) and the intermediate housing and spud shaft from advanced adaptors. Got all three for $400. The technician opened the tranny and all internals were good to go. put a new modulator and seal kit on it and threw some alumi-blast paint on it. Ill post a few pics later.

Picked up an Astrovan Hydroboost unit from the local pick and pull, as well as some dual groove water pump and crank pulleys for my power steering conversion.

I ordered a dual return saginaw power steering pump with bracket for my hydroboost brakes from wild horses. I also picked up a 1-inch body lift.

Spent a little time today welding in some patch panels and grinding on my d20 shift rails for the twin stick conversion. I also had some damage on the front clip from a slight collision so I just cut it off. I haven't decided whether i will replace the damaged sheet metal or utilize a tube front end.

This last week I also had some time to sandblast some marker light housings and the e-brake unit.

I have this week off so I will paint the blasted parts and tomorrow I will FINALLY pull my dana 44 and big bearing 9" off another bronco and get to work on those.

Heres a few not so interesting pics but I hope to add some more this week!

picked up axles

Was able to pull some axles, a Dana 44 and a nine" off a donor bronco yesterday. I'm excited to start cleaning them up and putting my disc conversion on the front and back.

Also added a pic of my c-4 ready for install.

If you ditch the side spare tire mount let me know, I am looking for that bracket that goes on the quarter panel.

Looking good!!!

back at it, kind of!

Got my axles sandblasted and started to tear them down and inspect them. The 9" third member with 4.11 gearing looks good. I have to weld on some new shock mounts to go with the WILD Horses inboard shock mount. Once the welding is done I will throw some paint on and reassemble.

The front Dana 44 is blasted and ready for a wild horses front disc conversion. I was able to borrow an Axle locknut socket today so I will pull off the 68 drum hubs asap.

here are a couple pics. Ive been gone a while but Im excited to get back to work on the bronco.
