Anyone seen a V8 swap yet?

A company in Australia is putting Coyote's in Rangers. $40K on top of the truck:

Not yet, everyone is too busy reselling it for $30,000 over what they paid.

Somebody is going to solid axle swap it too.

I'm pretty sure Ford has already done it, they're just not talking about it or showing it off like an enthusiast would.

The owner of the dealership I work for was at a Ford meeting in Dallas last week and they showed the owners group a Bronco Raptor, it was pushed out and they couldn't get close or take pictures.

The round wheel wells are the first thing than need to go.

I agree 100%. The fenders, along with a lot of the rest of the vehicle, is modular. I saw another company make more squared fenders that they put on their promotional new bronco.

Maybe Ford has the squared fenders ready for the consumer to purchase after the fact as separate pieces. Just another way to take our hard earned money.

Why a V8?? Dump the same engine in the Raptor's probably going to get. A 3.5 twin turbo making 540hp and 575torque. More than you can get out of any Coyote without going over the top. Just a thought... more torque, especially at elevation. more hp at all rpms. Just doesn't sound as cool but overachievers care about results and underacheivers go for the sound. :) Did I mention it weighs less and fits?
