Hey, anybody have any comment or opinions on the Fitech Fuel Command
Center? Pro or con, would like to hear them. I just ordered one, but it won't
be shipping for a month or so most likely....So I do have time to change my
mind. I have an early BC Bronco fuel tank for a carb so the internal pump
is out. Just seems to make it all simpler!
Thanks
Dan

I have the Fitech fcc. The reason I went with it was I didnt have to run a return line, and it allowed me to easily use both fuel tanks. Plus it looks trick

Some people have been fine with them, but FI techs recommend that it is not for off camber situations. I know the FAQs say it is, but the techs say that is wrong. I had one and sent it back. Never used it. I have the inline and used the Moroso EFI Fuel return. It is pricey for what it is, but easier than dropping my tank, purging and welding a new fitting on. Search on the tech and you will find plenty of info for the FC.

So Redleg, are you using an external HP fuel pump? Had any vapor lock issues? I like the idea of the submerged HP pump in the FCC ....

I have the FCC, when I hooked it up I made the line from my low pressure pump to the FCC the same length it would need to be if I had it running to a carburetor. So if anything ever happened way out on the trail I can swap back to a carburetor in 5 minutes, taking all the FI out of service. I'm having great success with my Fitech and the FCC, so far I love it

I have an external HP. My tank provides a positive feed so I think there will not be a problem as many people have run single HP pumps and not had a problem. I know quite a few say run a low pressure to a surge and then high pressure, but from my reading that can cause unneeded complexity. If I run into problems I will get an in tank retro fit kit.

Yes the FC is a cool package, but when two tech/engineers from the company tell me it might have problems in an off camber situation because of the float I tend to listen. They did say you can remove the float and it then becomes a surge tank, but needs a dedicated return.
