I have the opportunity to upgrade to an injected 351w out of an 89 bronco. i currently have a 2 in body lift and scooped hood. Does anyone have any experience fitting a similar setup with that large upper truck intake??

Thanks in advance

I have only seen one large truck plenum 351 under the hood o an early Bronco. It took just the right hood that had enough clearance at the front (by the radiator) and a 3” body lift that was shimmed another ½”. Still had some questionable clearances.

The only way to do it that I am aware of is to cut the hood to make it fit. If there is an aftermarket hood that will fit with only a 3 1/2" body lift I want to know what one it is. Here are a couple of pics of how I ended up doing mine. (This is with a 3" body lift)
