Flywheel C7TE-A Clutch bolt pattern

1970 Ford Bronco with replaced engine from 1972 302.
My Flywheel is cracked and the ring gear is in bad shape. The original flywheel is 164 tooth, 11" clutch and 28oz balance with stamped C7TE-A.

I can't seem to find a replacement flywheel with the same clutch bolt pattern.

The flywheel bolt pattern for my 11" clutch looks like it aligns with the 157 tooth 28oz flywheel and 10" clutch.

Is there a 164 tooth flywheel out there with the clutch bolt pattern from the 157 tooth flywheel?

Yeah. You can't get there from here.

Please stop using the lingo that you created to describe what you have and what you want. I will post the flywheel bolt circle chart here. As you can see, the measurement system totally changes when you go to a Long Clutch. When the pattern is 6 bolts in a 3x2 configuration, it is for a Long Clutch, and the pattern is described by the short distance between holes. As soon as you go to an even spaced pattern, it is described by the bolt circle diameter.

I didn't invent the language, but if you want to get the right thing...you have to speak the language. Fortunately, I CAN translate between the two.

So your C7TE-A stamped 164 tooth flywheel has a bolt pattern on it. Is it evenly spaced, or is it 3x2? If it is evenly spaced, is it 12-3/8 in diameter? Or is it 11-3/8? If it is 3x2, is it 3-1/8 between centers, or is it 3-3/8 between centers?

If your 164 tooth C7TE flywheel has the 3-1/8 spacing, and it is the same diameter as a 157 tooth flywheel at (11-3/8) then it is a 164t passenger car flywheel, and it is looking for a 10 inch long clutch.
If your 164 tooth C7TE flywheel has the 3-3/8 spacing, then it will be 12-3/8 bolt circle, and is looking for an 11 inch long clutch.

That should get you where you want to go.

Oreilly's Power Torque NFW1129 should get you there for $102.00

You are looking for a 1985 F150 with 351W. It will be 28 oz, and 164 tooth. also drilled for 12-3/8 bolt circle diaphragm clutch. (I think that the Oreilly one is dual pattern...)

Nothing against the steel one from Ford Racing, but very few people are spinning a stock 302 over 6000 RPM.
