Hi Guys,

My rear view mirrors are shot! I like the FJ mirrors but that’s a lot of plastic.

I also like the 67/68 Mustang remote control side mirrors but the mirror is small.

So, what 60s-70s OEM Ford remote mirrors have the largest mirror? I’d like to do a matching set, driver’s and passenger’s door.

Thank you and Happy Saturday!

I don't know if there is one. Maybe the old T-birds and LTD's and such? Were other full-size truck mirrors ever available in remote versions back then? I don't remember seeing any, but by '79 Ford had offered probably 9 or 10 different mirror options on the pickups.

Good luck.

Paul

75 or so Granadas had had matching remote (cable) mirrors. Not sure if they are exact but they are close to what came on Broncos. Not sure about "largest".

Those mirrors are also found on the same vintage on Mustangs and Cougars. NOS are very expensive, the I have purchased two used one that look pretty good. Ebay.

Did you use them on Broncos?

I have a remote on the drivers side and a non remote on the passenger. Similar size as stock EB. tighter fit so less movement with a door slam.

LOL! No. When I married my wife she had a 75 Granada Ghia. It was actually a pretty good car. It must have been special ordered - it was well optioned 4-door with bucket seats and 3 speed on the floor! Never seen another like it.

Hi Guys,
Thank you all for your info on my mirror search. Especially Scoop for the photos of that juicy 70s Granada! I bet that was one sweet cruiser back in its day.

So an update. I found both drivers and passenger remote mirrors on fee-bay and will post when I get them installed.

Thanks again, everyone’s help is appreciated.
