What I read, Fox News bought SPEED channel ,and wants to convert it to a channel like ESPN, that's why these shows are changing, also Mecum Auctions, kept saying in the last show they were changing also.
Does seem confusing, why changing networks, they lost all of the current or past projects, unless it was some legal thing, obviously had to change names, I guess due to license rights, they mentioned in the first Shows " they would be securing all new projects "

Ian from Xtreme apparently got on Pirate and said that PowerblockTV was not renewed by Spike. With some minor tweaks they are now on CBS here in Colorado/Comcast as Powernation. As somone said, most of the same people, new shop, tools and slightly changed focus for each show.

I wonder why Spike did not renew?

Probably same reason they didn't renew UFC either.

Spike TV will be having it on Sunday this weekend. If you have to search it, search it as "powernation..." not "xtreme off road"

Sounds like there should be lots of chances to catch missed episodes then.
So was it just last week that they started up again then? Looks like that was the plan, and we were just in time!

Without wanting to piss off the entire Classic community, I will say that I was unimpressed today watching Power-Nation on Spike.

It seemed like there was a commercial break every 6-7 minutes, followed by commercials that seemed to last that long too.

I think that I have been watching too long, nothing they seem to do interests me any more. Ian building another tube frame, the guys building up another LS motor, Dyno'ing a tired 78 Trans Am, seeing Burt Reynolds, A suspension lift install...

I wish the shows and their Hosts continued success, but I do not think I will worry about seeing the shows every weekend... Sorry If I have offended anyone

Agree one hundred percent how many LS builds can they do plus I would like to see more ford builds. If they lost all the old projects I will be disappointed in not seeing the half price raptor being finished. Like everyone else has said before I wish they would do a 66-77 Bronco build just not sure if I want extreme 4x4 or trucks to do it.

Without having actually timed it, I would have to say that the versions shown on CBS Sports had longer segments with shorter commercial breaks. Perhaps not by much, but there actually seemed to be slight variations.
And no, that doesn't mean I watched all of the shows twice. But I did watch some of them a second time around.
First time 'round I missed part of the engine-thing show, so watched it again. Second session I saw one additional show.

I'll say the jury's still out at my end. I enjoyed it enough to keep trying for awhile.
Probably 'cause I like Trans Am's? :p

First Speed goes away, now Spike ditches The Powerblock! Hell, that was the only reason to watch Spike! Bar Rescue is lame. 1000 ways to Die is gross. Oh well, time to get a DVR!
